My entry for contest to design a mate and foal for her beautiful mare Akhalaia.

Meaning: From the Forest
Breed: TB X Bacabello cross
Age: Unknown
Colour: Smoky Cream Rouge
Abilities: Suppressed. Have yet to emerge.


His family were outlawed over 100 years ago. Taking refuge in the surrounding forests and woodlands. Silvio was taken from his herd at a young age and trained as a ranch horse. As he got older he became more and more difficult to control. He was sold for a rock bottom price to a local who let him run free with his herd of Mustang mares in an attempt to pass on the cream gene and the Bacabello qualities to his herd.

After 4 years he was released back into the wild because his owner could no longer afford to keep him and couldn't bare to sell him to anyone else where he knew he would be put to work as either a cart horse or a ranch horse.

2 months of solitude roaming the plains, Silvio finally caught up with the Bacabello herd once more, his family's herd had long since moved on and could no longer be found on the plains or in the woodlands.

Due to his separation from Bacabellos as a colt, and his mixed heritage, Silvio has never had a Bacabello tattoo. This has caused trouble for him with some members of the herd who believe he is not worthy to travel with them.

His Thoroughbred bloodlines means he is incredibly fast and can travel at speed over long distances without tiring.

When he first spotted Akhalaia all the anger from his past life washed away. Being with her softened him, and the bullying from some of the other horses in the herd no longer effected him/ He was free to live his life with her.
